Series Overview:
WHAT: Wisdom 101 - Walking with Jesus in a Wacky World is a six-part series focusing on what most believers desperately want and need. Pastor Mac will help us see that it’s not what we seek but WHO we seek that will open our eyes to the wisdom of God. Now is the time for this relevant and practical resource to be used in every congregation. Each session is about 25 minutes, with time for discussion in the middle and at the end.
WHY: That is an easy answer. We all need the wisdom of God! There is not a believer that has ever existed that has not, at one time or another, cried out to God for wisdom. We live in troubling times, right is wrong, wrong is right, and believers are pressed on every side to compromise their faith. We need wisdom but can be frustrated in our search by a lack of understanding of how and when it is acquired.
HOW: Wisdom 101 is set up to walk us through the obstacles, hindrances, and hang-ups that distort our spiritual vision. the Word of God says that without vision the people perish. So it is with wisdom, as we struggle through this wacky world, we lose our direction and can stumble into situations that are not at all what God has intended. Each of the sessions focuses on a particular area where we can be tripped up.
