Session 1

Renewing your Church

Church renewal begins at the very basics of Christianity, "Faith, Hope, Love". This introductory session helps us take an overview of the church as God calls it to be. How does your church measure up? How do you?

Session 2

Renewing your Faith

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" Hebrews 11:1.  What's your faith "quotient"?  Faith isn't measured by quarts or inches, it's on the inside and is measured by our level of trust in a Holy God. How much do you trust to do what He has said He will do?

Session 3

Renewing your Hope

Jesus Christ is our hope. It is through Him that we have an eternal hope.  But how is that lived out on a day to day basis?  How do we translate that hope into a real tangible attitude that attracts others to Christ?

Session 4

Renewing your Love -

"Now these three remain, faith, hope and love.  And the greatest of these is love."  Paul penned these words nearly 2,000 years ago and the message is still as clear today as it was then.  Love is the key to all our relationships.  But everyone is not lovable.  What do we do then?

Session 5

The Process of Renewal

The early church in Jerusalem was an excellent model of what the church of Jesus Christ should look like.  There is little in most modern day churches that resembles what was happening in that model.  How do we get "back to the basics" of church life?

Session 6

Renewing our Commitment to Scripture and Prayer

Nothing is more central to a relationship with God than the reading and application of His Word and direct communication through prayer.  That is probably why most Christians struggle greatly in those areas.  Discipline and perseverence will help move us from being simply "hearers" of the Word to "doers".

Session 7

Renewing our Commitment to Fellowship and Worship

No one has written more about the "one another" passages in the New Testament than Dr. Gene Getz.  Listne and participate as he guides us through the essence of what it means to truly love, serve, worship with one another.

Session 8

Renewing our Commitment to Generosity

How comfortable would you be if Jesus showed up to help you with balancing your bank account every month.  How much would you change if you knew He would showing up?  How we handle money tells us very much about our maturity in Christ.

Session 9

Renewing our Commitment to the Evangelism

Pual ask the questions in the letter to the Romans, "And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?"  The command to share the "good news" was not intended for a select few, it was and always has been to all who believe.  What is your response to "Go ye"?

Session 10

Renewing our Commitment to the Family

We can usually put on a very good face for church and even our workplace but how do we live out our faith in the most challenging of places, at home?  Dr. Getz tells us that the family is the church in miniature.  The strength of a church measured by the strength of its families.

Session 11

Renewing our Commitment to Personal Maturity

Our level of spiritual maturity is largely dependent on our responsiveness to the Holy Spirit.  It is through His leading, guiding and instruction that we learn about God and come to know Him and His will for us.  God does not force Himself on us. Maturity happens as we submit and are willing to take the steps necessary.
